Prof Mike Page PhD, BA(Oxon)

Prof Mike Page received a first-class degree in Engineering Science from Oxford University and a PhD in Physics from Cardiff University. He then embarked on an academic career as a cognitive psychologist and, since 2000, has been Reader, and then Professor, in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire. Recently, he has focused some of his research on pro-environmental behaviour change. Mike is Director of the CUBE Project (www.cubeproject.org.uk), that involves the design and build of carbon-neutral microhomes, as demonstrations of low-carbon state-of-the-art more generally. Greentown is an extension of those ideas, that looks at the technical feasibility of a new zero-carbon town in the UK.
