Tim Clare
Tim Clare is the European lead for Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) at Anthesis Group, based in London. Tim joined in 2017 from Ramboll, where he held the corresponding role.
Tim has over twenty years of experience. His focus for most of that time has been the direction of multi-site, multi-jurisdictional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) due diligence projects undertaken as part of M&A transactions and the provision of wider EHS advice and support.
More recently Tim has helped his clients, particularly in private equity, to respond to the ESG agenda. Tim has broadened the scope of their due diligence to encompass ESG factors, helped develop their internal ESG policies and management systems and has worked with their portfolio companies to improve their ESG performance.
Tim’s current focus is on developing new ways to monitor that portfolio company ESG performance and to enhance their assessment of supply chain risks.
Tim started his career at Babtie, before joining Dames & Moore in 1999, where he started his due diligence focus. He then led the environmental due diligence business at WSP for ten years, before joining ENVIRON in 2013.
