Dan Welch is a qualified Hydrogeologist, with over 10 years’ experience, including 7 years in the UK waste management industry at Suez Resource and Recovery UK Ltd.
Dan has seen the industry move away from landfilling, as void space within Britain runs out, towards newer technologies as they are developed. He has a wealth of knowledge on current and closed landfill investigation, monitoring and management of ‘legacy’ contamination.
Dan is a Chartered Geologist and European Geologist with the Geological Society. He is also Chair of the West Midlands Regional Group of the Geological Society and a Committee Member for the Hydrogeological Group of the Geological Society.
