Dave Rutherford
Dave is a Chartered Geologist with over 20 years' experience. He has wide ranging experience in environmental assessment and regeneration, specialising in contaminated land management.
Projects he has worked on over the last few years include Argent’s prestigious Kings Cross regeneration, Meridian Water sites acquisition and remediation, MOD Deepcut Barracks redevelopment, and Nine Elms Post Office site remediation, taking Project Manager or Project Director roles. Before this he was seconded into the London 2012 Olympics project where he coordinated the site investigation works in the 80ha north site.
Dave’s focus is to have the end point in mind and understand the business drivers associated with each project. His approach to enabling sustainable remediation solutions has been to use risk assessment to its optimum whilst combining innovative approaches. This in turn, has resulted in an excellent track record of meeting and exceeding client deadlines and expectations.
Over the last four years he’s been heavily involved in London Borough of Enfield’s Meridian Water project, where he is now acting as Enabling Works Development Manager for the first development zone.
