Flood Risk Management: Resilience and Adaptation 2019

Patricia manages the implementation of the Lead Local Flood Authority duties and their integration with the Planning system in Kensington and Chelsea. She oversees the SuDS statutory consultee role for major applications. She has also been in charge of key flood risk infrastructure projects: the Thames Tideway Tunnel and the Counters Creek Storm Alleviation Scheme. She is a chartered planner with many years of experience developing environmental and, more specifically, flood risk and SuDS planning policy. In 2016/17 she was seconded to the Environment Agency to set up two new teams of Thames Flood Advisors to support the Thames Regional Flood and Coastal Committee 6-year capital programme. In April this year she became the co-chair of the London Drainage Engineers Group (LoDEG).
