Alan Hendry
Alan has very recently joined Worley after almost 11 years working for Jacobs where he worked in a range of roles on sustainability. This includes developing sustainability strategies for a wide range of clients, developing tools to embed sustainable practice in projects and programmes and developing a culture of sustainability with in the company.
Alan instigated and delivered the Jacobs' Global Sustainability Call, a forum for best practice which has featured senior presenters from leading businesses and Government including BASF, SC Johnson, the Ellen McArthur Foundation, Zero Waste Scotland, Johnson Matthey, Unilever, Coca Cola Enterprises, O2, McCain’s and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Through this forum Alan has developed an excellent network of contacts across Government, Government Agencies, NGO’s, businesses, business organisations and local authorities to create a strong knowledge exchange network.
Alan has spoken at several international conferences in recent years including, COP22 in Marrakesh, the Association of Airport Executives Sustainability Conference in New Orleans, the EDIE Sustainability Reporting Conference in London, the Sustainability Leaders Forum in Berlin and the Companies Vs Climate Change in Amsterdam.
In his most recent role Alan was in Jacobs' Sustainability Centre of Excellence where he helped deliver Jacobs' new Global Sustainability Strategy PlanBeyond.
