Yolande Macklin
Yolande Macklin is a Senior Contaminated Land Specialist at Arup with 18 years’ experience in land contamination management and assessment. Yolande has previously worked within multidisciplinary consultancies, local and national government organisations.
Yolande’s particular area of expertise is controlled waters and human health risk assessment and also has significant experience in stakeholder liaison and risk communication. Yolande has a wealth of experience on a wide range of sites including gas works, chemical works, Ministry of Defence land and former landfills. This work has been carried out on behalf of a wide range or private sector clients as well as for central and local government.
Yolande leads a team that includes digital as well as geo-environmental specialists which through research and practical application has developed many new and innovative techniques for assessing brownfield sites.
