Ian Mercer
Ian is a Partner and development surveyor, working on the delivery of greenfield and brownfield land for private clients, housebuilders and public sector. He helps clients with the identification, delivery and disposal of development land and the negotiation of option promotion and overage agreements. Ian often acts in a facilitating role for clients in addition to the development.
Ian has a wealth of experience working public sector clients having been seconded to a local authority to oversee the delivery of housing led regeneration. He is also client manager for the Land Trust an organisation that is committed to the long term sustainable management of open space for community benefit.
He specialises in the negotiation of complex development, option and promotion agreements required to deliver a mixture of housing led, city centre and commercial development as well as fulfilling the role of marketing agent.
