Matthew has been very heavily involved with several workstreams within Defra’s Property Flood Resilience Roundtable and leads Task Group 3 of this group. This included the development and management of an independent guidance portal for home and business owners within the UK – www.floodguidance.co.uk. He has also worked on the development of a national property flood resilience database (PFR-d), which can record flood resilience measures that have been installed on homes within the UK.
