Tim Budd
Tim is a civil engineer, currently working at Atkins, with over 30 years experience in infrastructure and development engineering, including the planning, design and construction of major sewerage and highway schemes, land reclamation and site enablement projects. He has directed and managed multi-disciplined land development projects for a number of clients, most notably a broad-based engineering term consultancy with English Partnerships working primarily on the delivery of New Town projects in Telford. In this role he was the engineering lead of an English Partnerships project team charged with delivering an exemplar Masterplan for Lawley, a 4000 home brownfield development that was then the largest Sustainable Urban Extension planned in the Midlands.
Tim has worked extensively with St Modwen Developments acting both as Atkins’ Project Director and technical lead/reviewer on a number of land development projects and is currently the engineering masterplanner for the 400ha redevelopment of the former Llandarcy Oil refinery in South Wales into Coed Darcy for 4000 homes, community and employment use.
