Paul Dennis
Paul has worked on contaminated land aspects of large earthworks, buildings and infrastructure projects for the past 18 years and is part of the growing geo-environmental team at Arup. Paul has a wide range of experience of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigation, human health and groundwater risk assessment, landfill construction, capping and refurbishment works, and remediation projects.
Paul is a Specialist in Land Condition, a Suitably Qualified Person under the National Quality Mark Scheme and a Chartered Geologist. Paul is a BSI drafting panel member currently working on the new British Standard for soil sampling for determination of volatile organic compounds, he is a committee member of the Geological Society’s Specialist Contaminated Land Group and he has acted as a scrutineer interviewing Chartered Geologist applicants on behalf of the Geological Society.
