Geoenvironmental Engineer,, Arup

Melanie is a geoenvironmental engineer with Arup Belfast, working alongside a UK & ROI-wide team of 60+ geoenvironmental consultants and engineers.

She regularly advises clients on cost effective and sustainable solutions for material management during site redevelopment, in line with existing good waste management practise in NI & ROI.

Melanie also has experience managing land contamination issues on various projects such as site redevelopment including historical landfills and infrastructure schemes. She works with clients and regulators to ensure successful delivery of the project and discharge of planning conditions.

Melanie graduated in 2009 with a degree in Civil Engineering and went on to complete a MSc in Water Resources Management at Queen’s University Belfast. She has international experience and previously worked on a diverse range of geoenvironmental projects for the Christchurch Rebuild, New Zealand.
