Natural Capital: a Framework for Assessing the Delivery of Co-Benefits to Lever Partnership Funding Opportunities, Utilising the UN SDGs

About this event

The Resilient Coasts project (East Suffolk and Great Yarmouth Council) works alongside affected coastal communities in carefully selected pilot locations to create a practical toolkit of options that enable the people, economies and environment of the Great Yarmouth and Suffolk coastal frontages to transition to a climate resilient coast. Several of the pilot sites associated with the Resilient Coast Programme are located in deprived, rural communities, and have associated funding gaps.

Using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as the basis, this project seeks to develop a framework to assess the links between the potential benefits and outcomes of the Resilient Coast project and the UN SDGs, as well as the alignment of the SDGs with the plans and policies of potential investors.

This Sustainability Delivery Group Expert Talk will share insights on the framework.
