This panel is for Environment Analyst Strategic Members only, and will continue the discussion around ESG target setting, net zero progress and climate leadership in the industry, which was explored in our recent Market Report 'ESG Strategies: Consultancies in the race to net zero'.

Discussion topics:

The session will begin with an introductory presentation from Liz Trew, Co-Founder & Research & Editorial Director at Environment Analyst, who will summarise the key findings and recommendations from the report. This will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Ross Griffiths, Operations Director at Environment Analyst.

David Symons, Future Ready Global Leader & UK Director of Sustainability, WSP

David Symons leads WSP’s global innovation and sustainability programme, Future Ready and its commitment to halve the carbon footprint of the firm’s designs and advice by 2030. David was Society for Environment’s Professional of The Year for 2020; Business Green’s Leader of the Year in 2018 and is a Director of Aldersgate Group.

David has worked on long-term future and sustainability programs for close to 30 years, advising companies and governments on long-term trends and developing practical, implementation programs to address these and is a regular media commentator on megatrends, with special focus on sustainability and environmental matters.

Linden Edgell, Global Sustainability Director, ERM

Linden is the Global Sustainability Director and a Partner with ERM. She leads ERM’s corporate approach to sustainability and reporting, and the ERM Foundation, and is responsible for key elements of the company’s strategy focusing on ‘the business of sustainability’. She is involved in a number of multi-stakeholder initiatives focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), leading ERM’s engagements with key global organisations including the UN Global Compact, GRI, PRI and World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

Linden is a social scientist and has provided strategic and technical advice to a range of companies, multi-lateral institutions and governments for more than 25 years. Her work has primarily focused in Australia, Asia Pacific and across Africa. Linden is listed in the ‘Who’s who for Australian women’ for her work in professional and voluntary organisations.

Chantelle Ludski, Chief Executive Officer, North America, Anthesis

Chantelle Ludski joined Anthesis in September 2020 as Chief Operating Officer for North America and Asia Pacific, and is a member of the Global Leadership Team. Chantelle previously held the role of Chief Administrative Officer for the Americas at Renewable Energy Systems, Inc and prior to that, she was Global Chief Risk Officer at Arcadis N.V.

Chantelle started her career in her native South Africa as a Corporate & Commercial lawyer in private practice, before moving to a General Counsel role with one of her firm’s clients in the UK.

Lucy Bradbury, Sustainability Manager, Global ESG Training & Development Lead, AECOM

Lucy is a Sustainability Manager at AECOM, specialising in initiatives to reduce emissions from AECOM’s operations and designs, with the aim to reduce these emissions 50% by 2030. Lucy is an advocate for bettering equity, diversity and inclusion in construction & engineering and beyond, and is a member of the Building Equality executive committee.
