What will the webinar cover?

Infiltration SuDS is an important part of sustainable urban water management for new development and infrastructure. Its incorporation into brownfield projects poses risks to water resources not necessarily present for other types of land. British Geological Survey would like to gain a better understanding of the data, information and knowledge required to support infiltration SuDS scheme design and implementation in urban areas to feed into our existing research and innovation activities such as the Community Water Management for a Liveable London (CAMELLIA) project.

This virtual workshop will seek to engage with planners, designers and ground and water engineering professionals to exchange knowledge on current good practice in infiltration SuDS and urban future water planning. This virtual workshop will be interactive and engaging with results disseminated after the event.

Speakers:

Dr Darren Beriro, Geoenvironmental Scientist, British Geological Survey

Dr Christopher Jackson, Principal Groundwater Modeller, British Geological Survey
